Big news just hit the hair styling world in Orange County. Renowned stylist James Morrison, the former co-owner of Toni & Guy and founder of TIGI BedHead, just opened Morrison Hair, with his wife Rachel Morrison, in an intimate salon in North Laguna Beach. It’s a place where you can feel at home, and then leave with a new style that accentuates your natural beauty. Morrison Hair is a departure from ubiquitous stark salons; it’s in a cozy Spanish bungalow with wood floors, arched doorways, a fireplace and beautiful natural light. The modern and Bohemian décor features Belvedere salon chairs, and a pair of sling chairs made from vintage wildfire tarp.

Guests can sip tea near the fireplace and easily check in via iPads with a few taps of the screen, and purchase products via remote using handheld devices. Morrison Hair carries top of the line products from Kérastase, L’Oreal Professional and Philip Kingsley.
 
James oversees a team of talented and experienced hairdressers at his dream salon. Open by appointment 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Morrison Hair is at 1140 N Coast Highway in Laguna Beach. 949.497.3616.
