OC Marathon Sunday!
Put on your running shoes for the OC Marathon happening Sunday. There’s the daunting 26.2-mile race, half-marathon, Wahoo’s 5K and Kids Run the OC. The new OC Marathon course offers a scenic run with ocean views, travels along the trails above the Newport Back Bay and passes the Performing Arts Center and more. An estimated 25,000 spectators line the course while an additional 30,000 are anticipated to the two-day Health, Fitness and Nutrition Expo which showcases national brands and state of the art footwear and training technology. HomeAid in Irvine
Make a difference in the lives of homeless mothers and their children by stopping by Irvine Spectrum Center Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. for a donation drive and family event for HomeAid Orange County’s Essentials for Young Lives. At the Giant Wheel Court you can enjoy entertainment by Kids Are Music, arts and crafts, and bring diapers, baby wipes, baby food and baby hygiene products. The items will go HomeAid’s 16 service provider partners who operate facilities built in partnership with HomeAid Orange County and serve homeless families across the county.
