What’s not to love about Anastasia Boutique and Café in Laguna Beach? It covers the best of both worlds: high-fashion and foods under one roof. For the past 30 years owner Ami Garavi has offered an unparalleled mix of designer, shoes, bags and accessories from top designer brands and served breakfast (all day) and lunch from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. It’s an oasis for fashionistas and those who enjoy relaxing table side with friends. Right now Anastasia is having an in-store end of the year sale—apparel reduced 30 to 50%, and if you sign up online you’ll receive e-mail alerts for Warehouse Wednesday sales. Choose from top brands including Alberta Ferretti, Blumarine, Jean Paul Gaultier, Plein Sud, Wunderkind, Maison Martin Margiela, Comme des Garcons, Junya Watanabe, Peachoo + Krejberg and many more. Just recently Anastasia added its own men’s label, Unholy Matrimony. Boutique is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Café is open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. 460-470 Ocean Ave. in Laguna Beach. 949.497.1212.
Greer Shows and Tells!
Come down to Laguna Beach tonight from 7 to 10 p.m. for some inspiration at Pecha Kucha Night: Orange County at Mozambique. The Pecha Kucha team curated a line-up of some of the OC’s most creative thinkers and dynamic doers to share what’s on their mind and how they’re making the world a better place. Seven presenters share 20 slides for 20 seconds each, totaling a mere 6 min and 40 seconds of show and tell. Doors open at 7 p.m., the first presenter starts at 8:20 p.m. The line-up includes: John Fischbeck President, Tresor Properties, Greg Kuehn Composer, Creative Director of Peligro Music, Dianne Aoki, Community Outreach Coordinator, Hurley, Ashley Eckenweiler Director, The ACE Agency, Michael Lanzon Founder/Owner, Bike Religion, Max Isles Founding Member, Transition Laguna, and me, Greer Wylder, President and Founder of pacific-creative.digital. If you’d like to learn more about Pecha Kucha Night Orange County go online here. A $5 suggested donation. Mozambique at 1740 South Coast Highway in Laguna Beach. RSVP to dchannels@cox.net..

Save the Date!
Make sure you save the date for the oc mart MIX! If you haven’t heard about “the MIX”, it’s a great new gathering of amazing vendors at the South Coast Collection (affectionately referred to as SOCO) in Costa Mesa. And Greer’s OC readers are invited to a sneak peak shopping event on Jan. 26 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The best part is that while you enjoy shopping, sipping on complimentary wine and nibbling treats, the entire event benefits Greer’s OC favorite charity - Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). To attend, RSVP to Gretchen at gretchen@pacific-creative.digital and the first 100 RSVPs receive a gift bag! See you there!
