Weekend: Fitness Block Party!

Pilates Plus

Pilates Plus OC is hosting a full day of health and fitness in Costa Mesa on Saturday, all while raising fund for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The 17th Street Block Party will be a health conscious street faire, allowing guests to indulge in complimentary treatments including mini sauna sessions, massages, body fat testing, hair styling, make-up application, eyebrow shaping, eyelash extensions, spray tanning, nutritional advice, etc while treating their palette to the latest taste of health including a mini juice bar by Nekter.

Visitors can explore local and national health and fitness wares and even participate in a class by international fitness guru Sebastien Lagree - the creator of SPX Systeme Dynamique (Pilates Plus) - and check out the latest Lululemon Athletica fitness apparel. An incredible raffle will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and everyone will leave enlightened, relaxed and aware after learning all the cutting age health and fitness secrets!

Don't Worry, Be Happy!

Ray Johnston BandJoin the Ray Johnston Band for a “Don’t Worry Be Happy” benefit concert for cancer patients Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Galaxy Concert Theatre in Santa Ana.

Ray Johnston, who was diagnosed with leukemia in 2004, is being pro active for other cancer warriors (he’s been in remission for 15 months). He’s raising funds for patients currently in treatment through the concert and sales of “Don’t Worry Be Happy Shirts” available to purchase, or donate here.

Kids Eat Free at Chipotle!

Chipotle KidsChipotle Mexican Grill is rolling out a new kid’s menu and to celebrate it will give kid’s free meals every Saturday and Sunday in April. The catch is that the meal is free, when parents purchase a burrito, salad, burrito bowl or order of tacos. Chipotle proudly uses ingredients from sustainable sources including naturally raised meats, organic and local produce, and dairy without added hormones.
