Get Rid of your Grey

If beauty is only skin deep, then you need to do all you can to preserve and take care of that skin.  Wipe your shelves bare of those chemically heavy and harmful beauty products and give Generation Klean a try.

Generation Klean started in 2011 with the goal of creating clean, healthy, and nourishing personal care products. They've nixed many of the toxic ingredients found in other care products like parabens and sulfates, choosing, rather, to focus on natural ingredients like Vitamin E and panthenol.

Their first product, Gray Disappear, is a mascara wand that covers unwanted grays and unsightly roots. Gray Disappear comes in four shades and will be in Whole Foods at the end of the month.  Look for more Klean beauty products coming soon.

Celebrate Food

Celebrate the Sapphire Food Fare on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Margaret’s Episcopal School in San Juan Capistrano. It’s part farmers market and culinary experience from Chef Azmin Ghahreman, of the Sapphire Culinary Group and Sapphire at School.

Choose from a collection of fine foods and produce for sale including: farm-fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs, artisanal breads, cheeses and chocolates, organic grass-fed beef, fresh seafood and local varietals of honey. Chefs will demonstrate recipes and provide samplings while nutritionists offer advice on how families can buy better and eat healthier.
