With Fourth of July just around the corner, consider celebrating in style with dinner and a spectacular fireworks show at the St. Regis Monarch Beach. You can choose from two decadent dining options, as Motif and Chef Michael Mina's Stonehill Tavern are offering delicious food, fantastic drinks, and fireworks.
Motif Restaurant
Motif will host a one-of-a-kind dining experience on their terrace that includes dinner and a front row seat to the Fourth of July fireworks spectacular. Executive Chef Frederic Castan created a special four-course menu served at 7 p.m. Reservations are available for $95 per person or $140 with wine pairings. Dinner on the terrace is limited to about 100 guests, but guests are welcome to enjoy Motif’s regular menu at the restaurant’s indoor tables as well.
Michael Mina's Stonehill Tavern
James Beard Award-winning chef, Michael Mina’s Stonehill Tavern will also offer an exclusive dinner on their ocean view terrace, giving guests a front and center view of the impressive fireworks show as well. The award-winning restaurant will prepare a decadent seafood bar including: oysters, ceviche, Hamachi tuna, shrimp cocktail, and sushi. Guests will also enjoy free-flowing Champagne before the show. Reservations for the 8 p.m. seating are available at $250 per person.

McFadden's Wharf Open Air Market
On the last Thursday of each month through September, you can shop, stroll, eat and watch the sunset at the McFadden's Wharf Open Air Market at the base of the Newport Beach Pier. On Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. more than 30 vendors will be offering handmade jewelry, art, flowers, apparel and more.
Choose from crisp linens from Elizabeth James, fun bracelets from West of Camden, fresh throw pillows from Kim Montgomery, jewelry from Indie Republic Designs, custom carriers from Elaine Gordon, iPhone cases from Get Uncommon, fun and colorful jewelry from Vivian of One of a Kind Designs, string art by Thread Therapy, jewelry by Nueva Vida, eco-friendly apparel and handmade jewelry by Sharibe, custom stationery creations by Butterfly Designs.
There will also be caricature drawings by Roger Bethke, ab-pop cartoonist art designed toddler teas from Jorge Daniel Nunez, stylish clothes and fun summer flip flops from Sea Jems by Dana Grad, hand-crafted gifts from Classy and Sassy, beautiful succulents from Succulent Style, jewelry from Tigris Designs, one of a kind necklaces, earrings, cuff bracelets and pendants from Paige Fox Designs.
21 Oceanfront is offering a happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. with special drink and food prices and entertainment by Steve Clark from 5 to 9 p.m.
