Newport Beach VIRTUAL Garden Tour & Summer Garden Party

Coronavirus and social distancing won’t prevent the Newport Beach Garden Tour from taking place on Saturday, May 9th! The beloved community event, presented by Sherman Library & Gardens, will just look a little bit different this year.

The 24th Annual Newport Beach Garden Tour will be an online event. P.J. Video, a full-service video production company based in Tustin, has been retained to capture compelling footage of each garden on this year’s Tour.

Stories from the homeowners will be woven throughout, where they’ll share interesting tidbits and disclose the inspiration for their gardens. The Newport Beach Garden Tour will be available to view at thesherman.org on Saturday, May 9.

Newport Beach Garden Tour ticket holders will also receive an invitation to attend an extraordinary Summer Garden Party scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 29 at Sherman Library & Gardens. The event will feature live music, amazing food, and a silent auction and raffle with prizes donated by generous local residents and area businesses. The Newport Beach Garden Tour Summer Garden Party promises to be the party of the summer!

While the virtual garden tour will be available to all through Sherman Library & Garden’s website, the Summer Garden Party is exclusively for ticket holders. “It is our hope that the community will continue to support Sherman Library & Gardens through this difficult time by purchasing tickets, and then picking out their best garden party outfit to celebrate life, love and gardening with us on August 29th,” said Kathy Dahlquist, President of Sherman Library & Gardens Volunteer Association. Proceeds from the Newport Beach Garden Tour & Summer Garden Party will support children’s education programs.
