Tasty Offerings for National Sandwich Day

National Sandwich Day is today and we have a variety of different (and delicious!) sandwich offerings from different food/restaurants to discover.

The Cheese Shop (at SOCO + The OC Mix)

The Cheese Shop – a gourmet deli located inside SOCO + The OC Mix in Costa Mesa – is a local gem stocked with domestic and imported farmstead + artisanal cheeses. With bread made fresh at the start of everyday, they pair the freshest ingredients to curate sandwiches that will spark your tastebuds with pure deliciousness.

The Granny Smith sandwich is layered with fresh sliced turkey, sharp cheddar cheese, garlic aioli, green apples and arugula smothered between two pieces of an artisan French baguette. Each ingredient enhances the flavor of another, and this pairing is truly one of a kind.

Johnny Pastrami sandwich includes pastrami, provolone, pepperoncini, Dijon and mayo on country wheat bread

Burrata Sandwich is an open-face prosciutto sandwich served on ciabatta bread topped with arugula, roasted tomatoes, prosciutto, burrata, a light drizzle of balsamic and olive oil vinaigrette with a hint of black pepper on-top – perfect for a light mid-day delight.
