It doesn’t get much better than live music at the beach. And the summer’s end tradition, Doheny Days Music Festival is back this weekend at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point. On Saturday and Sunday, top headliners like Jane’s Addiction, The Flaming Lips. Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, Jimmy Eat World, Steele Pulse and many more will play roots, rock, reggae and funk music.
The festival will also provide eco-exhibits, food and drink stands, and a vendor village. Tickets cost $100 for general admission two-day passes, to $60 for single day general admission tickets. There are also VIP access tickets for $200 (two-day) or $125 single day.

Fashion followers can meet Jillian Barberie Reynolds, co-host on “Good Day LA” and top American designer David Meister who will be emceeing Fashion Island’s Fashion’s Night Out tonight. The festivities start at 5 p.m. in the Neiman Marcus – Bloomingdale’s Courtyard when Style File’s Jillian Barberie Reynolds presents top trends from Fashion Island’s exclusive boutiques. Following the presentation, watch a chic runway show hosted by LA-based designer David Meister showing his sophisticated modern day dresses, cocktail dresses and gowns.
From 6 to 8 p.m., stop by the three Fashion’s Night Out vignettes at Fashion Island to see Jillian’s Top Picks. She’ll be offering some style advice, maybe get a photo op with her, and you can get expert advice on incorporating the latest trends in your wardrobe and where to find them. At the same time guests can stop by the Neiman Marcus dress department and meet David, where help you find the perfect dress. Visit Fashion Island stores for in-store fashion and beauty events, giveaways, sweet treats, DJs and more from 5 to 9 p.m.
