European and Latino Showcase Films at NBFF

Tonight, the Newport Beach Film Festival continues with European Showcase films for Swedish, Italian, French, spotlight films, as well as a festive after party at Via Lido in Newport Beach for all. 

The Swedish Spotlight features Waltz for Monica (Monica Z) tonight at 7:45 p.m. at the Big Newport Theater; Italian Spotlight, A Five Star Life tonight at 8 p.m. at the Big Newport Theater; and the French Spotlight, Attila Marcel at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Big Newport Theater.

The after party at Via Lido Plaza will celebrate the best in European filmmaking, hosted by LA Confidential will feature top entertainment and hors d’oeuvres prepared by award-winning restaurants, as well as a hosted bar by Stella Artois.

The cost is $40 for the film and party/$18 film only/$30 party only. Must be 21 and over for post party. Cocktail Attire suggested and it’s an outdoor event.

On Wednesday, the Newport Beach Film Festival’s Latino Showcase features Mexican Spotlight, The Amazing Catfish at 7:30 p.m. The Big Newport Theater;  The Brazilan Spotlight,  The Invisible Collection at 7:45 p.m. Big Newport Theater; and finally, the Chilean Spotlight, The Summer of Flying Fish at 8 p.m. Big Newport Theater.

The Newport Beach Film Festival’s Latino Showcase after party will be celebrated at Via Lido Plaza hosted by HOY and OC Weekly, featuring top entertainment and hors d’oeuvres prepared by award-winning restaurants, along with a hosted bar by Stella Artois and Tito’s Vodka.

The after party will be at Via Lido Plaza. The cost is $40 for the film and party/$18 film only/$30 party only. Must be 21 and over for post party. Cocktail Attire suggested and it’s an outdoor event.
