OC Fiat, So Hot!

Fiat

Move over, Cooper. One of the hottest cars on the market, the FIAT 500, is the talk of the town as Orange County’s only FIAT dealership opens Tuesday in Costa Mesa.

Orange Coast FIAT is unveiling a cool, state-of-the-art studio, where customers can customize cars with interactive exhibits, sip on Italian espresso, and relax while watching flat screen TVs.

The popular FIAT 500 boasts an affordable price (starting at $15,500), about 40 miles per gallon, Italian style and cutting-edge technology. Justin Hyde at Jalopnik, a website devoted to the obsession of cars, said, “The Fiat 500 set to invade American shores after a several-decade hiatus isn't the same car that's caught on in Europe. It's better, with more engine, revised suspension and upgraded safety. The Mini Cooper just got pwned.”

You can stop by to see for yourself what the buzz is all about. The car comes in three trims – pop, sport and lounge, and in 14 dazzling colors.

Open Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

The studio is part of Orange Coast Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge/Ram, and OC Motorsports a pre-owned superstore in Costa Mesa.

Orange Coast FIAT is at 2524 Harbor Boulevard in Costa Mesa. 888.433.1872.

Pi Day!

Time for Pi!

We just found out that today is National Pi Day. In distant memory (from our limited math experience in school) we know Pi  is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter: 3.14 (yes, we looked that up).  And Morton’s The Steakhouse Santa Ana or Anaheim is offering a sweet deal just for Pi fans, order a slice of Morton's famed key lime pie today for only $3.14. That’s a $7 savings; the regular price is  $10.50.

Morton’s The Steakhouse Anaheim is at 1895 South Harbor Blvd. Anaheim. 714.621.0101; or Morton’s The Steakhouse Santa Ana is at 1641 W. Sunflower Ave. in Santa Ana. 714.444.4834.
