The Musical, gracing the stage of Segerstrom Hall for nine captivating performances from December 19th to 24th, 2023, as part of the 2023/2024 Broadway season. Praised by The New York Times as "100 times better than any bedtime story," this timeless holiday musical promises to enchant both young and old alike. With its delightful and whimsical retelling of a beloved holiday tale, it's bound to fill Segerstrom Hall with joy and the spirit of Christmas, making every heart grow two sizes too big.

Tickets for this enchanting experience start at just $29 and can be purchased online at scfta.org, in person at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts Box Office at 600 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa, or by phone at (714) 556-2787.

Audiences will have the privilege of witnessing the magic of Dr. Seuss' cherished holiday story come to vibrant life on stage. Featuring beloved songs like "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" and "Welcome Christmas," THE GRINCH embarks on a heartwarming journey to discover that Christmas holds more than he ever imagined. Max the Dog serves as the narrator in this heartwarming tale of the mean and conniving GRINCH, whose heart, as we know, is "two sizes too small," as he hatches a plan to steal Christmas from the joyous Whos.

THE GRINCH achieved record-breaking success on Broadway for two consecutive years during its holiday runs at the St. James and Hilton theaters in New York. Since then, over 2.5 million theatergoers across the nation have been delighted by this heartwarming holiday musical, praised by Gannett as "A genius of a show! A total delight for both kids and adults."

Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical boasts magnificent sets designed by John Lee Beatty and costumes inspired by Dr. Seuss' original book, brought to life by Robert Morgan. The music and book by Mel Marvin and Timothy Mason breathe new life into this timeless tale. The 2023 production is skillfully directed by Matt August and choreographed by Bob Richard, building on the original choreography by John DeLuca and the creative vision of three-time Tony Award®-winning director, Jack O'Brien.
