Newport Dunes Fire & Ice Festival

Join the first-ever Newport Dunes Fire & Ice Festival and immerse yourself in the enchanting spirit of the holiday season! The picturesque bayside haven will undergo a magical transformation into a winter wonderland, featuring one of Orange County's most stunning outdoor ice skating rinks, a dazzling display of festive lights, and heartwarming holiday moments. 

Don't miss the chance to revel in the breathtaking 33rd annual Lighting of the Bay, where more than fifty illuminated holiday decorations and Christmas trees will gracefully float on the serene, waveless bay.

Come make cherished memories and celebrate the most wonderful time of the year!

Highlights of the Fire & Ice Festival include:

Ice Skating. Suitable for ages 3 and up.

  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 10 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. (last skate session starts at 8 p.m.)
  • Monday - Thursday:
    • December 18th - January 1st: 10 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Fire Pits & S'more Kits Cozy up around the fire, roast marshmallows for s'mores, or savor a cup of hot chocolate.

Igloo Bar with Festive Sips & Snacks Open Wednesday - Sunday, 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Fire Dancing Catch mesmerizing fire dancing performances on Friday & Saturday nights, with two shows at 5:45 & 7:45 p.m.

Lighting of the Bay Experience the enchantment of over 50 floating holiday light displays on the bay.

Live Entertainment On select evenings, live entertainment and DJs to keep the festive spirit alive.

Holiday Inflatable Garden Take a stroll through the charming inflatables and snap holiday photos with family and friends. Open daily.
