Where’s The Beef?

Where else can you order just about anything you want, listen to classic rock, and choose from a selection of 100-250 taps of beer? Now we have even more reasons to love the Yard House! New tasty vegetarian dishes were just introduced, and the Yard House is helping to feed the needs of our community with Round it up America program at its 25 restaurants.

The Yard House just rolled out 25 new meat-free menu items that vegetarians and meat-lovers can enjoy. The menu items mimic some of the Yard House’s most popular dishes using vegetable protein from gardein with the taste and texture of premium lean meat.

It took some experimenting to find the right meat substitute that wouldn’t compromise taste or quality, but executive chef and partner Carlito Jocson says that gardein “passed every taste test with flying colors.” Among the choices at Yard House are grilled burgers including Yard House’s classic sliders, orange peel chicken, spicy chicken sandwich, and spicy Thai chicken pizza, just to name a few.

Let Them Keep The Change!

The Round It Up America program is brilliant—all that you do is add loose change to your bill at the Yard House. Even 50 or 75 cents can make a huge difference. Money raised from Round It Up America benefits nonprofits, including local food banks, homeless shelters, crisis relief centers, emergency assistance for military troops and their families, as well as services that protect the welfare of children and older adults.

Donations will be will be administered by the Orange County Community Foundation (OCCF), a premiere philanthropic source that connects donors and non-profits whose common goal is improving the quality of life for their communities.
