Jessica Johnson, a Los Angeles-based fashion line that enables you to achieve effortless chic coastal style through its high-quality collections, is celebrating the grand opening of its flagship boutique on Friday, May 14. Designed and produced in Los Angeles, the brand has enjoyed great success since its inception in 2015
After years of working in the fashion industry in other capacities - as a successful stylist and fashion reporter - and finding inspiration through her personal travels to coastal cities worldwide, Jessica made the jump to start her own clothing line. From the beginning, she has been committed to carefully crafting each piece from luxe fabrics that she hand-selects with her clients’ style, comfort, and fit in mind.
“Every garment that we create tells a story, whether of a location or a person,” says Johnson. “When you wear Jessica Johnson, the difference is evident. You can rest assured that your garment has been ethically made and supports charities in our community.”
A custom-branded tote bag will be gifted with purchase to the first 100 shoppers during the Grand Opening. Visitors can also enjoy refreshments while perusing Jessica’s latest collection and a few of her favorite brands that will be carried in-store, including:
Esquivel Shoes - Hand craftsmanship, quality and tradition are at the heart of Esquivel, a brand that combines a modern aesthetic with a timeless sensibility, all with a Southern California, casual sophistication.
Mama Bijoux - For Newport Beach designer, Katie Miller, jewelry has always run in the family. She began creating custom heirloom pieces for herself and two little ones, starting with a signature diamond-encrusted heart. The single design sparked a full collection of luxury jewelry for women of all generations, that is made in Los Angeles and now dubbed Mama Bijoux.
Into The Woods - Handcrafted by talented and creative artisans, Into the Woods is a globally sourced brand designed for the woman who values the craftsmanship and ethical responsibility of her accessories while still being stylish.
Freya Hats - Offering straw hats that are handmade by artisans and family-owned businesses where traditional craftsmanship is apprenticed from one generation to the next. The straw hats are handmade in Ecuador by artisan female weavers - mothers, daughters, and grandmothers - who have learned their craft from generations before them.
Preceding the public opening, an invite-only launch celebration of the Jessica Johnson Flagship boutique will take place on Thursday, May 13th. The brand will contribute ten percent of all sales from this event to Willow International, a non-profit dedicated to eradicating human trafficking and restoring the lives of survivors.
Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
At Plaza Sereno, 234 E. 17th St. in Costa Mesa.
