Get ready for an evening of culinary magic and spirited competition, all for a cause that makes a difference. Join MaxLove Project at their 10th Annual Farm to Fork App-Off on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 5:30 PM, hosted at the picturesque Tanaka Farms. This isn’t just another gala; it’s a unique, immersive experience where food lovers and supporters of childhood cancer families come together.
The App-Off promises a sensory feast with chef-driven appetizers, fine wines, and a lively atmosphere. Four teams, consisting of MaxLove’s Superkids and Gold Apron Society chefs, have been working tirelessly to surpass their $25,000 fundraising goal. Now, they’ll showcase their culinary skills in a thrilling competition where you and a panel of celebrity chefs will determine the winner.
Meet the teams:
- Team Green: Superkid Anaya Green and Chef Cathy Mcknight
- Team Love: Superkid Chef Nico Balkhi and Chef Devin Wells
- Team Hope: Superkid Chef Max Wilford and Chef Winnie Yee-Lakhani
- Team Thrive: Superkid Chef Aditi Bhuman and Chef Shachi Mehra
Each team will have their own booth, offering delectable appetizers while sharing their personal stories and connection to MaxLove Project. The evening concludes with a judging ceremony, featuring celebrity chefs like Ed Lee, co-founder of Wahoo’s Fish Taco, and Winnie Yee-Lakhani from Food Network’s "BBQ Brawl." You’ll also have a say in choosing the winning dish by casting your vote.
Whether you’re a culinary enthusiast, a supporter of worthy causes, or simply someone who enjoys great food and wine, this event is a must-attend. Culinary partners include Tanaka Farms, Rombauer Vineyards, Bella Union Winery, Hope Family Wines, Postino WineCafe, and many more.
Tickets:
- General Admission: $250
- VIP Table for 10: $5,000 (includes reserved seating, fine wine, a special preview tasting, and exclusive perks)
By attending, you’re not just indulging in culinary excellence—you’re also supporting families affected by childhood cancer, helping them live full and vibrant lives. Don’t miss this unforgettable night!
