No Rest for Bridget, a budget minded fashionista’s fave boutique for in-style apparel, just opened its third store in OC. Now Newport Beach has its own No Rest for Bridget at the new Landing Shopping Center, a few doors down for Crow  Burger Kitchen on the Balboa Peninsula. It’s a place for teens or women of all ages to shop for affordable apparel including tops, dresses, denim, sweaters, basics, accessories and more.

You can perfectly mix finds with expensive designer apparel or just where pieces on their own. New merchandise arrives weekly and moves quickly. Want the latest in fall trends? No Rest for Bridget says trends include leather, black lace, chunky knits, masculine-feminine dressing, tweeds, colored pants and utilitarian parkas.

Celebrate Art!

Laguna Art Museum It’s time to celebrate the beloved Laguna Art Museum and what it means to the community, at its annual open house on Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m.

In years past, it’s the event has been exclusive members-only gathering, but now opening its doors for everyone to enjoy a free night at the museum. 

The evening will include announcements from museum’s board president Robert Hayden III, a video presentation and plans for 2012, and recognizing outstanding volunteers. After the presentation, enjoy drinks, small bites courtesy of 24 Carrots Catering, and see the museum’s current exhibitions Noguchi: California Legacy, Lita Albuquerque: Emergence, and Landscape and Figuration from the Collection: Early to Mid-Twentieth Century before they close on Oct. 2.
