In just two weeks Orange County’s talented musicians will be honored and lauded at the premiere music event of the year: the 12th Annual OC Music Awards celebration at City National Grove of Anaheim on March 9.
Leading up to the grand awards show, five finalists in the Best Live Band Showcase Series will battle it out at a free show tonight at House of Blues Anaheim. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the first band will perform at 8 p.m. Kat Corbett from the World Famous KROQ will host and the winning band will be announced at the end of the night and take home the Best Live Band category title, a performance slot at the March 9 Awards show and a massive prize.
Performances by: Fan Vote Winner: Solution (8 p.m.); Nilu (8:45 p.m.); Robert Jon and the Wreck (9:30 p.m.); Fiction Reform (10:15 p.m.); and Jeramiah Red (11 p.m.).

It's Tea Time

Seventh’s menu includes a selection of delicious tea sandwiches ($6-$8) such as The Salty Sweet: fresh ricotta, apricot jam, pistachio pesto, wild flower honey and cracked black pepper; or citrus cured salmon roll: house cured wild salmon, dill cream cheese, shallot-caper relish, shaved cucumber, arugula and sliced heirlooms; and the tarragon chicken salad: diced chicken, Greek yogurt-tarragon vinaigrette, shaved green apple and scallions.
