Team Kids is changing the trajectory of children’s lives. If you’re not already familiar with Team Kids, we want you to know all about the incredible feats this Irvine based non-profit is accomplishing. Since its inception in 2001, Team Kids has organized free and innovative programs to schools giving children the opportunity to help raise funds for community charities. More than 56,000 students have raised over $400,000 with 100 percent going to other youth-serving charities.
Local students have educated themselves about and raised funds for critical community issues like hunger, homelessness, and the environment to name just a few. The mission was originally created by partners in Irvine, has now grown to other schools in Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Rancho Santa Margarita, and Palos Verdes. And, will soon be carried out in Arlington County, VA.
Il Forniaio is at 18051 Von Karman Ave. in Irvine.
