It took 3 years for Shawn Tavakoli, owner of Beauty Collection to find the perfect place in Orange County to open the fourth Beauty Collection, a beauty haven since 1982 in Los Angeles (Calabasas, Malibu and West Hollywood). Now all beauty enthusiasts (men and women) can get over to Corona Del Mar Plaza for one-stop shopping of curated products. From skin, hair, cosmetics, fragrances, smiles, home, DIY tools and more, Beauty Collection offers the right solution for any issue. They even carry products for children and pets.
The success story of the family owned business has much to do with their commitment to listening to their customers needs, seeking the best result-driven products, and following trends in the industry.
As you enter the upscale boutique find all cosmetic counters on the left, and everything from DDF - Doctor's Dermatologic Formula sunscreen, Isle of Dogs shampoo with cold-press evening primrose, extensive Voluspa Candle collections, and lifestyle products easily categorized throughout the store.
High-end niche brand selection including Caudalie, Epicuren, Natura Bisse, MoroccanOil, Frederic Fekkai, Rahua, Smashbox, Gorgeous Cosmetics, Jane Iredale, Lippmann, Doop products, Bliss, Philosophy and more.
Some key products that we’re excited about are the London based Ciaté nail kits that allow you to create one-of-a-kind nail art with pearlescent beads for a 3-D effect; and the RED Carpet Red LED Gel Manicure System so that you can do a gel manicure at home that lasts for weeks. Also, Orlane will be launching soon at Beauty Collection and a private skin and hair services room opens in the back of the shop next week.
As a way to give back to the community, Beauty Collection Corona del Mar will be donating 10% of all purchases from May 18 to 25 to CHOC Children’s Glass Slipper Guild to raise money for the hospital’s needs.
Open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
932 Avocado Ave. in Newport Beach. 949.717.6554.
