Pendry Newport Beach Kicks Off Summer with New Experiences

Pendry Newport Beach, located in the heart of Orange County’s coastal scene, is welcoming the season with a full lineup of new summer experiences—from private boat cruises and dive-in movie nights to exclusive shopping excursions, poolside pampering and more.

Here’s a look at what’s happening this summer at Pendry Newport Beach:

Summer Highlights

Personal Shopper Experience
In partnership with nearby Fashion Island, enjoy a luxury shopping experience guided by your own personal shopper. Choose a curated boutique tour or a private session in a Fashion Island Style Suite, featuring top brands and exclusive finds.

Harbor & Emerald Bay Boat Cruises
Set sail aboard Pendry’s 34-foot Sea Ray Sundancer, Aperitivo, for a private cruise through Newport Harbor or Emerald Bay—one of Southern California’s only private beaches. Cruises depart from the Balboa Bay Club and include round-trip hotel transportation, a private captain, and optional food and beverage upgrades. Up to 10 guests.

Dive-In Theatre Movie Nights
Every first and third Tuesday, June through August | 7–10 p.m.
Cool off with a cult classic film screened poolside, paired with cocktails, dinner specials and more. Open to resort guests, Elwood Club members and the local community. No reservations required.

Ongoing Summer Experiences

Pedal & Picnic
Daily, June through September | 10 a.m. to sunset
Explore Newport Beach on an e-bike and enjoy a gourmet picnic prepared by Pendry’s culinary team. Ride through Back Bay, down Pacific Coast Highway, or around Balboa Island for a scenic coastal adventure.

Poolside Pampering
Daily, June through September | 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Spa Pendry brings its services outdoors with cabana massages, foot treatments, and Knesko face masks—all while you lounge poolside.

Fitness Classes
Join complimentary Mat Pilates on Mondays at 6 p.m., Yoga Flow on Tuesdays at 6 p.m., and Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. in the Movement Studio. $30 for non-guests.

Retail Pop-Up Series
Fridays, Through – Aug. 29
Discover a new featured vendor each week with curated selections of apparel, jewelry, art and accessories.

Beach Valet & More
Enjoy round-trip transportation to Corona del Mar with beach setup service included. Plus, end your evening with Pendry’s nightly s’mores service and other summer perks.
