Celebrate the 25th anniversary and visionary plans for ExplorOcean/Newport Harbor Nautical Museum on Saturday from 6 to 9:30 p.m. The Silver Anniversary Waterfront Celebration promises to be an exciting evening of unveiling ExplorOcean, a state-of-the-art interactive amusement and educational facility with a "4D" sensory theater and more, as well as a fashion show on the docks featuring designs by Faconnable South Coast Plaza, dancing, bonfire-side food and drinks, auction and after party from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m.

The place to be Saturday is at one of our favorite bakeries in Orange County, Blackmarket Bakery in Irvine, which is celebrating its fall open house, cutely titled "Bite Me," from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The day is filled with live entertainment, shopping, food trucks and tasty sweets.
