Get in on the IPA blind tasting at OC Wine Mart & Tasting Bar in Irvine Friday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. There will be eight IPA’s to sample including Russian River Blind Pig IPA, Ballast Point Sculpin IPA, Port Brewing High Tide Fresh Hop IPA, Firestone Union Jack IPA, Deviant Dales IPA, Dogfish 60 Minute IPA, Green Flash West Coast IPA and Eagle Rock Populis IPA.
Cost is $25 per person for beer and cheese, $3 back will go towards purchase of featured beer.

Street Art and DJs
As Issued, a new art + design bookstore at The Lab in Costa Mesa, will be hosting the signing event for Cryptik’s new book “Eastern Philosophy” Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. Hit + Run will be live screen-printing as guest DJ’s perform. The book documents Cryptik’s street art and features many iconic images including Buddha, the Buddha Palm, Ganesha, and Gandhi. Other photographers and artists who have captured his work are also included..
The Cryptik Movement is a public art campaign on a mission to bring greater awareness and understanding through compelling, iconic imagery that sparks reverie and scrutiny. It wants to inspire and provoke thought without religious or political agendas. Copies of the book will be available for $37.50.
