One of my best friends. Alli Dafferner co-owns a fantastic boutique called LuLu Too on East 17th Street in Costa Mesa. Sadly, her husband Skee was hit hard 10 days ago with a terrible bout with Multiple Sclerosis. Since his diagnosis 8 years ago, he’s never suffered this badly with symptoms. A lesion on his brain is making everything for him, including walking extremely difficult. Alli and her husband, and their three daughters are having a tough time. And they want to help find a cure for disease multiple sclerosis, an autoimmune disease that affects the brain and spinal cord.
For the past few days, LuLu Too has been donating 20% of all proceeds to Multiple Sclerosis Society. Lulu Too carries affordable stylish and comfortable pieces for your wardrobe including Allen Allen, NikiBiki and Jolie, as well as small leather goods, scarves, fedoras, and jackets. The winter wraps are perfect for holiday gift giving. LuLu Too even has a designated kids corner with weekly specials for children ages 8 to 14. The boutique will be at this location through Christmas, and is also available for after hours shopping events, gatherings, and college holiday care package nights.
Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. 333 East 17th St. in Costa Mesa. 949.631.5166.
