The Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach and world-renowned ocean photographer Aaron Chang (who has a pop-up gallery in the Shorebreak lobby) have teamed up to create an experience for surf and art lovers.
Booking "On a Mission for Art" package includes accommodations, a private town car ride along the coast to Solano Beach for a tour of Aaron Chang’s Art Gallery, and a large Aaron Chang original (rates from $2,085). There’s also a Hidden Gem package, where overnight guests receive one small piece from Aaron Chang’s Gallery (rates from $399). Both packages include a daily newspaper, Even Wine Hour and access to the 24-Hour Fitness Studio, as well.

Backyard Skills!
Learn how to make your own eco-friendly birdhouse Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Center for Living Peace in Irvine. The Ecology Center will be stopping by as part of its Backyard Skills class to offer lessons about re-purposing old materials, and you’ll leave with a zen birdhouse made of chopsticks.

RA Sushi is offering three refreshing cocktails just for summer (that’s ending too soon) through Sept. 5. RA Sushi’s new Summer Sips will bring back childhood memories in its Dreamsicle, a tropical beach vacation in a Coconut Mojito; and a cool summertime dessert, a Key Lime Martini.
