Save the Veil!

Save the Veil After coordinating many weddings where winds caused her bride’s veils to blow and wreak havoc during the ceremony and photos, San Clemente based wedding planner Jill Watson of the Pampered Bride decided she needed a solution to keep veils under control.

So she designed magnetic jewelry pieces, aptly named Save the Veil that can be easily attached to a bride’s veil and serve as a weight.

The veil weights are made of genuine mother of pearl and Swarovski crystals with two small hidden magnets. They’re ideal for brides getting married outside where winds can be an issue.

Save the Veil pieces can be a great problem solver for wedding planners, and not a bad idea for wedding photographers and videographers to have on hand. After the wedding, Save the Veil can be repurposed as magnets to hang wedding photos. The cost for a package of six veil weights is $65; three to six weighs can control most veils.

Choose from four styles: oval with Swarovski Crystal, oval with mother of pearl, round with Swarovski crystal and round with mother of pearl.

Save the Veil is available online at savetheveil.com, or by calling 800.808.1333; as well as locally at Blush Bridal Couture in Tustin at 13011 Newport Ave. Suite 111 in Tustin. 714.573.8000.

B. Bride is at 3321 G-2 Hyland Ave. in Costa Mesa. 949.698.3525.

The Dresser is at 112-A West Commonwealth Ave. in Fullerton. 714.870.7101.
