Best known for its Fried Chicken & Waffle Sandwiches, Bruxie now offers Chicken Wings in three flavors – Original Seasoned, Spicy Red Rub, and Gung-Ho Glazed. The large, meaty wings have been given the full-on Bruxie flavor experience: an overnight marinade in buttermilk, hand-breading in Chef Kelly’s own spice blend, and then fried to order, never pre-cooked.
“We’ve elevated fried chicken wings in the same way we elevated the fried chicken sandwich,” commented Chef Kelly Mullarney. “Too often, wings are more about the sauce and less about the actual chicken. I want that definitive taste of great fried chicken with every bite of our wings.”
The wings are offered in the following flavors, along with a choice of Bruxie’s 7 dipping sauces:
Original Seasoned – The original Chef Kelly spice blend that launched a thousand Bruxie fried chicken sandwiches.
Spicy Red Rub – A dry rub mix of Chipotle Chile for an earthy heat, Smoked Paprika for a hint of smoky outdoor flavor, and a bit of Cayenne Pepper that adds a punch of latent heat. Together the spices provide depth of flavors that are rarely found on chicken wings.
Gung-Ho Glazed – Wings are tossed in a house-made Thai chile sauce for a tangy-sweet heat, then topped with crushed roasted peanuts, minced red Fresno chiles, and green scallions for that extra flair of taste and texture.
Bruxie Wings are available at all Bruxie locations in California and Las Vegas (for dine-in, take-out and delivery). Perfect for enjoying with NFL playoffs, a Wing Spread Box is offered with 18 wings, waffle fries, slaw, and sauces.
