I’m back after days of worry and concern about the coronavirus crisis throughout the world and how it’s affecting local businesses and our community. And although I do not know when life will resume to normal, I can continue to give you updates and highlights of what is available out there.

We have so many wonderful restaurants that operate on narrow margins to begin with, so if we can order food to go or delivery that would be supportive. One of Southern California’s best wine and spirits stores, Hi-Time Wine Cellars was just given the green light late today to stay open as long as customers keep their social distance. They are also offering curbside pickup, shipping and local delivery through Drizly. There are special gift card promotions at local restaurants and local hotels such as Balboa Bay Resort and The Montage Laguna Beach, are offering promotions for when this ends.

I do know that the next time we can attend a performance at Segerstrom Center, a charity event for one of our favorite charities, work out at a gym, or dine in at a restaurant, and all of the things we took for granted just days ago, we will appreciate everything so much more. It’s all for the greater good to keep more people safe and healthy and we will all definitely learn from this.
