Huntington Beach’s newest kitchen and craft bar Social just opened in the former SeaSalt Woodfire Grill location. Social's original executive chef, Jeffrey Boullt is back to take Social Huntington Beach to the next level.
Social Huntington Beach offers a fun and relaxed setting with a lively and welcoming atmosphere. From the restaurant’s 3,200-square foot open concept floor plan with plenty of group seating, to the sprawling 1,500-square foot outdoor patio complete with an outdoor bar, fire pits, and lawn games.
Showcasing the signature “Social” wall of reclaimed wood adorned with oversized marquee letters and plenty of greenery, the Huntington Beach space will have a familiar yet more beach-inspired vibe than its Costa Mesa counterpart.
Executive Chef, Huntington Beach native Jeffrey Boullt oversees the kitchen at both sister restaurant, SOCIAL Costa Mesa, as well as SOCIAL Huntington Beach, at which Wyatt Lash has been appointed Executive Chef. Lash comes to SOCIAL from Pacific Hideaway where he was also Executive Chef.
For the new location, Boullt has developed a distinct menu to reflect his hometown community which includes a lineup of elevated classics and California coastal cuisine.
Along with chef and ingredient-focused dinner, brunch and Happy Hour, the new-American dining concept offers a fresh lineup of weekly food and beverage happenings like Taco Tuesday, All-Night Happy Hour Wednesday, King Crab Leg Thursday, Wagyu Prime Ribeye Friday and Fried Chicken Supper Sunday. The restaurant will have unique features including a Raw Bar highlighting dishes like Peruvian Scallop with sugar cube melon, cucumber, and yuzu ponzu and will embrace the site’s woodfire grill as a backbone flavor with menu items such as Black Garlic BBQ Sticky Ribs with grilled peaches and black vinegar slaw.
Open Tuesday through Sunday for Happy Hour at 4 p.m., dinner service from 5–10 p.m. and weekend brunch from 9 a.m.– 3 p.m.
