You can join the American Legion on Balboa Peninsula for epic viewing of the 111^th annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade on the patio. The Sons of the American Legion-Squadron 291 are hosting all five nights of the parade. The festivities kick off Wednesday, December 18 and run through Sunday, December 22. The proceeds benefit local Vet Programs throughout the year.

The cost is a donation of $30 for each adult and $15 for children 2-10 years.  In addition to viewing of the parade, attendees will be treated to a delicious Mexican buffet dinner catered by Taco Revolution. There will also be a no-host bar, a Mariachi Band, a visit by Santa, face painting for the kids by Joslin Art to enjoy, opportunity drawing with awesome prizes and most nights a caricature cartoonist! On the patio, it will be pre-assigned community seating.

There will be over 200 boats and ships artfully decorated and dressed for the holidays. Many boats will have cheerful holiday music with carolers on-board and boaters will be waving to guests onshore and wishing everyone a Happy Holiday. It’s truly an evening of fun for the entire family.

In addition, raffle tickets will be sold November and December ($10 for one or 3 for $25) for three incredible prizes!  The drawing will be on December 22^nd. There will be three winners. The winner need not be present, but only if they included their name and phone number on the winning ticket.

Prizes include Grand Prize- Kauai, Hawaii- A Trip for 7 nights- Accommodations at the charming Kauai Shores Hotel in Kapaʻa (north of Lihue on the Royal Coconut Coast). 2^nd Prize- Dine-Around - Dinner for 2 at 5 different restaurants in Orange County! 3^rd Prize - Taco Catering Party by Taco Revolution- For 30 guests at your home!

Gates open at 4 p.m., Dinner starts at 5 p.m. and the Boat Parade passes viewing location around 6:45 pm. Please don’t be late and the entertainment will follow the Parade.

Cocktails & Wine: No Host Bar for Adult Beverages & $10 corkage fee (for wine only).
