Literature meets coffee at the new Ink & Bean Coffee Saloon & Wordshop in Anaheim celebrating its grand opening on Saturday. Ink & Bean features premium Stumptown Coffee and locally homemade pastries from beloved Blackmarket Bakery in Costa Mesa. There will also be ongoing literary events such as author signings, professor talks, story sharing and old time radio programming, as well as Write Ins on the first Wednesday of each month for writers of all genres.
Grand opening festivities include a selection of Steinbeck audiobooks playing and half off coffee with the purchase of a pastry. At the same time, enjoy ACE, Anaheim’s Art Crawl Experience, where local artists line Center Street Promenade and live musicians play for guests in attendance.
Ruben Cantu, sax player will entertain guests with classic American standards, smooth jazz, rhythm and blues, soft rock and Latin between 6 to 7 p.m. Visitors will enjoy a literary display on Park & Read parklet sponsored by the Orange County Museum of Art and As Issued from 6 to 10 p.m. Lucky winners will get a free coffee and mug from 6 to 10 p.m. in the raffle held that evening.
Open 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
