Calling all little ghosts and goblins! Discovery Cube, the leading children's science museum in Southern California, is thrilled to announce the return of Pumpkin Palooza, now in its second year at the Orange County campus. The event runs through Tuesday, October 31. This enchanting event promises not-so-spooky, delightful experiences for visitors, featuring two floors of excitement. Attendees can enjoy an interactive dance party, bumper cars, life-sized corn mazes, and more.
The seasonal festival of science fun invites children of all ages to enjoy a perfect blend of tricks and treats, resulting in scientifically entertaining Halloween activities. Explore the first-floor festival showcase, boasting bumper cars, a life-sized pumpkin house, an inflatable corn maze, interactive pumpkin science demonstrations, and much more! Afterward, head up to the second-floor Showcase Theater for a heart-pounding interactive dance party, featuring a giant 20-foot pumpkin DJ named "Jack-o-Lynn," spinning a Halloween-themed soundtrack.
Pumpkin Palooza will take place on select days, offering a range of limited-time activities:
- The Pumpkin Palooza Dance Party: Join the interactive dance party with a colossal 20-foot projection-mapped DJ named "Jack-o-Lynn" spinning today's popular dance hits.
- Ride Boo's Bumper Cars: Attention, little ghosts and goblins! Enjoy flying around a man-made track while learning about the laws of motion and speed.
- Crazy Mazes: Challenge your cognitive abilities as you navigate through two exciting maze challenges.
- Pumpkinology 101: Ignite your inner scientist by creating glow-in-the-dark slime, exploring pumpkin sizes using "pi," and testing your speed with a marble run race.
Tickets for this autumnal festival are available for purchase, priced at $12 (requires Discovery Cube general admission). The tickets include costume parades every Saturday and Sunday, as well as a special Trick or Treating experience on October 30 and 31, 2023.
Discovery Cube Orange County is located at 2500 N. Main St., Santa Ana, CA 92705. For hours of operation, please visit discoverycube.org.
