En Familia: Anaheim’s New Mexican Steakhouse Gem

Exciting news for Anaheim’s food scene! En Familia, a new Mexican-inspired steakhouse, is set to open its doors in the Anaheim Packing District this Saturday, February 24th, with a grand ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. The first 100 guests will enjoy a special treat: a 15% discount for an entire year!

Chef David Fuerte brings his vision to life at En Familia, combining high-quality meats with innovative Mexican flavors in an atmosphere that's both sophisticated and inviting. The menu promises an array of craft cocktails and diverse dishes for all who visit.

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the tantalizing options from their Tasting and Del Mar Menu:

  • Fire Roasted Papas Bravas: A rustic medley of fingerling potatoes with roasted pasilla beer cheese and a smoky red pepper relish.
  • Blue Corn Fritters: These savory bites are enriched with bone marrow cream and a unique Chile Morita pistachio salsa.
  • Mini Sopes Tatemados: A delightful fusion of bluy corn and chocolate clams drenched in a red chili sauce.
  • Fried Enpanadas: A trio of corn masa pockets filled with huitlacoche and Oaxaca cheese, complemented by salsa macha.
  • Oro Verde: A vibrant guacamole paired with heirloom tomatoes, pickled onion, and house-made chips, finished with a touch of burned lime salt.
  • Blue Fin Tuna Aguachile: Fresh slices of tuna are enhanced by a coconut tepache aguachile sauce and Wagyu salt for an exquisite taste.

Open Friday and Saturday 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday; noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, closed Monday, Tuesday to Thursday 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
