Billy’s at the Beach Reopens Al Fresco Waterfront Dining

Billy’s at the Beach, the iconic Hawaiian-inspired restaurant and bar in Newport Beach reopens the waterfront patio for service today. The aloha dining destination debuts an updated interior with fresh decor, a renovated patio with extended outdoor seating areas, and introduces new Executive Chef, Robert Luna, elevating Billy’s signature Hawaiian fusion cuisine.

“We are thrilled to raise a Mai Tai and welcome guests back to Billy’s at the Beach,” said Asia and Fletcher ‘Ted’ Jones Jr., Owners of Billy’s at the Beach. “Billy’s has been a staple in Newport Beach for over 20 years and we’re looking forward to sharing the aloha spirit with the community for the next 20 years and beyond.”

Billy’s fresh Hawaiian-inspired menu features fan-favorite legacy items including Billy’s Beach Burger and the popular Pupu Platter for Two, an assortment of Cho Cho, Coconut Shrimp, Crab Cakes, Blackened Ahi Tuna, and BBQ Pork Ribs. For guests on the go, Billy’s is also offering its legendary Mai Tai Survival Pack with six World Famous Mai Tais, two cheeseburgers and french fries.

A classically trained chef with over 20 years of experience in hospitality, Executive Chef Robert Luna brings robust culinary expertise to his new role at Billy’s at the Beach. Chef Robert comes to Billy’s from Texas, where he served as VP of Culinary Operations at Love Style Inc., celebrity Chef Tim Love’s restaurant group with eleven concepts nationwide.

Guests will be welcomed by a fresh dining atmosphere at Billy’s at the Beach. The subtle renovation was designed to enhance the familiar, tropical vibe at Billy’s at the Beach while adding additional waterfront patio seating, and additional bar space.

Billy’s at the Beach is committed to health and safety and is closely monitoring local and state guidelines. New protocols have been introduced to keep guests and employees safe, including reduced capacity, expanding outdoor seating areas, physical distancing, and requiring facial coverings.

Open Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 11:30 a.m.  - 9:00 p.m.; Thursday - Saturday: 11:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. for lunch, dinner, and drinks. Closed Monday.
