Halston Heritage for JDRF

Join an evening of shopping and Champagne at the new Halston Heritage boutique at Fashion Island in honor of the Dream Guild of JDRF Orange County on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. The event will include a Halston Heritage handbag giveaway. And 15% of all proceeds made by Dream Guild guests through Saturday will benefit JDRF Orange County.

Founded in the 1960s, Halston’s groundbreaking designs continue to influence fashion today. A new team of innovators are continuing Halston’s legacy through the Halston Heritage collection as an approachable luxury lifestyle brand –mixing classic Halston codes with a modern edge to create an effortless women’s collection of ready-to-wear, dresses, handbags, footwear and small leather goods. Modern style icons including Gisele Bundchen, Sarah Jessica Parker and Halle Berry have worn the new Halston Heritage collection.

The line is also carried at premier retailers including Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Net-A-Porter and Harvey Nichols, and now the recently dedicated Halston Heritage stores.

Open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Sugar Ray at 25th Gala of Serving People In Need (SPIN)

Serving People In Need (SPIN) will be celebrating its 25th anniversary gala on Friday, Nov. 1 at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa in Huntington Beach with a special performance by Sugar Ray. Making the evening even more memorable, celebrity Chef Charlie Palmer will be joined with the Hyatt Regency’s Executive Chef Manfred Lassahn to create a spectacular dinner.

The black tie optional gala will raise much needed funds in support of SPIN’s housing programs assisting Orange County residents in times of financial hardship. SPIN’s housing program ensures that Orange County children living in poverty will find stable housing as their parents turn their lives around with the ultimate goal of affording permanent housing for the family.
