Amour Vert just opened its first SoCal boutique at Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach, other locations are in Palo Alto, San Francisco and Tiburon. Amour Vert means Green Love in French, and founder, Linda Balti's ultimate goal is to reduce the environmental impact of fashion. Every step of the clothing production process matters, they do everything from using low-impact, non-toxic vegetable dyes to developing a zero-waste design philosophy that involves consciously cutting patterns.
Amour Vert's specially engineered textiles and blended fabrics are crafted to be soft, flattering and long-lasting. Designs are made from recycled polyester, sustainable denim, Indian silk, Merino wool, linen, certified organic cottons, tencel and modal. You’ll love the easy going and ultra-comfortable French inspired Breton Stripes collection; eco-friendly denim such as Greening the Blues, Levi’s and AGOLDE; as well as the classic biker jacket made of recycled leather from vintage garments.
You can also find great tees and tanks, tops, shirts and silks, dresses, bottoms and skirts, jackets and sweaters, shoes, accessories and jewelry. They even carry home accessories and gifts such as decorative trays and Shupaca throws. With every purchase of a tee, they will plant a tree in North America with their partner American Forest.
