Deli Nerds Brings High-Quality, Clean Eating to Costa Mesa

Deli Nerds, a woman-owned fast-casual restaurant in Costa Mesa, is making clean, high-quality meals more accessible to the community. The menu features gourmet sliders, fresh wraps, and hearty salads, all crafted with grass-fed meats, farmers’ market produce, and house-made sauces—without inflammatory seed oils. Beyond serving food, Deli Nerds is creating a gathering space and offering catering for corporate and social events.

Born out of necessity during the COVID era, Deli Nerds was founded on the idea that convenience shouldn’t come at the expense of quality. With home cooking becoming a daily challenge and takeout options often lacking in nutrition, the need for real, wholesome food made with integrity became clear. What started as a ghost kitchen quickly developed a loyal following, leading to the opening of a brick-and-mortar location in Costa Mesa.

The counter-service restaurant features a handcrafted community patio and a dedicated meal prep kitchen, ensuring that customers can enjoy meals that feel homemade with a restaurant-quality touch. The menu balances simplicity with creativity, offering sliders instead of traditional sandwiches, vibrant bowls, wraps, and hot plates—all made with grass-fed beef, pastured meats, wild-caught seafood, and farm-fresh produce. A commitment to quality remains at the forefront, with a strict no-seed-oil policy.

Deli Nerds makes every meal an easy, feel-good decision, whether stopping in for a quick bite, enjoying a relaxed meal, or stocking up on fresh meal prep. Guests can dine in, order takeout, or book catering for office lunches, events, and family gatherings.

Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Deli Nerds is now open at 1525 Mesa Verde Dr E, Suite 117, Costa Mesa.
