Just steps away from the iconic Knott's Berry Farm, the newly transformed Knott's Hotel is set to unveil its multimillion-dollar renovation this fall. With a refreshed name that pays homage to the park's visionary founders, Walter and Cordelia Knott, the hotel promises an elevated getaway for both leisure and business travelers. Embracing a stylish country guest house ambiance, the redesigned guest rooms and enhanced amenities will captivate guests seeking a blend of rustic charm and upscale comfort.
The 322 guest rooms at the new Knott's Hotel have undergone a thoughtful transformation, exuding a laid-back warmth that reflects the founders' charm. Adorned with handcrafted accents and upscale farmhouse-style details, each room offers a stylish and comfortable retreat. Families will appreciate the updated family-sized rooms, accommodating up to six guests, and featuring additional amenities like a convenient kitchenette.
Come fall, Knott's Hotel will solidify its status as one of Orange County's premier event destinations, catering to corporate meetings, special events, and weddings. The revamped programmable meeting space, spanning over 20,000 square feet across two floors, has been completely transformed. State-of-the-art technology seamlessly integrates computer, video, and audio equipment, while high-speed wireless internet ensures smooth connectivity. The highlight of the redesigned space awaits in the ninth-floor ballrooms, offering unmatched skyline and park views, and setting the stage for unforgettable gatherings.
Enveloped in a craftsman-designed outdoor courtyard, Knott's Hotel unveils an enchanting space that captures Walt's sense of beauty. Reclaimed wood, adobe brickwork, and Mexican artisan tile combine to create a rustic timber-frame structure. The courtyard, beautified by Cordelia's touch, features giant fruitless olive trees and festoon lighting, casting an ethereal ambiance for evening cocktails, private receptions, and intimate gatherings. Executive Chef Shannon Tracewell's culinary team takes center stage, sourcing local ingredients to craft a delectable array of catered menu options, and accommodating events of all sizes.
Guests can delight in a modern twist on farm dining at the brand-new Thirty Acres Kitchen and Bar. Paying homage to the Knott family's original 30-acre farm, the restaurant features a captivating double-sided, wrap-around bar extending into the lobby. Locally inspired craft cocktails and small plates take center stage at the 300-degree bar, while the full-service restaurant menu offers tantalizing twists on traditional American cuisine. From signature seasonal dishes to menu items reflecting the park's themes, Thirty Acres Kitchen and Bar invites guests to savor a culinary experience rooted in history.
Stepping into the reimagined hotel lobby, guests are greeted by warm, rustic textures and decor. A guest registration wall made of oversized replicas of the farm's first boysenberry jam jars, filled with fresh flowers and seasonal displays, creates a welcoming atmosphere. The lobby'skids' great room features an eclectic mix of comfortable chairs and seating areas, inviting guests to unwind and relax. The custom-designed grand lantern chandelier, crafted from salvaged glass, sets the perfect ambiance.
Knott's Hotel further enhances its offerings with The Pantry, proudly brewing Starbucks coffee, offering quick snacks, pastries, and convenient grab-and-go options. Next door, the expanded and renovated gift shop, Berry Place, presents a wide selection of sundries, wearables, sodas, and snacks. Guests can indulge in the California sunshine at the spacious outdoor pool, featuring a renovated pool deck and a kids splash area.
The Knott’s Hotel is located at 7675 Crescent Ave. Buena Park. For more information, call (714) 995-1111 or visit KnottsHotel.com. The property will remain open to guests during renovations.
