Sweet and Savory Waffles

Delicious sweet and savory waffles sandwiches are now ready to order in South Orange County.  Bruxie opens its third Orange County eatery today in  Rancho Santa Margarita. As far as we know, it’s the only concept like it in the country, a place to enjoy sweet and savory gourmet waffle sandwiches. The flagship Bruxie is in Old Towne Orange, followed by Brea Downtown.

The Bruxie at Rancho Santa Margarita’s offers the same waffle goodness as its sister restaurants’ including its take on authentic Belgian waffles: the Brussels waffle, for all Bruxie sandwiches, with an aroma as divine as freshly baked bread; or the Liege waffle, a sweet waffle with Belgian-pearl sugar.

Other menu items include salads, local old-fashioned cane sugar sodas, real Wisconsin frozen custard, shakes, sundaes and floats. Bruxie serves Peet’s Coffee & Teas, and nothing on the menu costs more than $10.

Bruxie is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (until 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday).

Bruxie is at 22205 El Paseo in Rancho Santa Margarita 949.207.6570; in Brea Downtown at 215 W. Birch St. 714.255.1188; and in Old Towne Orange at 292 N. Glassell St. 714.255.1188.
