Lock Into Your Heart!

Tiffany Lock Collection

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Tiffany & Co. at South Coast Plaza will exclusively preview the latest Tiffany Locks Collection. And you can make a personal appointment, or just drop by at your convenience to be among the first to see the collection Tuesday through Thursday of next week. No doubt it will be a Valentine’s gift must-have.

Tiffany Locks feature detailed pendants and charms (some even function as actual locks). Choose from vintage, heart, half circle and round shapes in 18 karat yellow and rose gold or sterling silver. The precious metals are either hammered for texture or polished to a high gleam, creating a distinctive look of stylish urban hardware or lustrous heirlooms. Prices range from $100 to $5,500.

Tiffany Locks also include a heart pendant handcrafted in platinum and covered with pavé diamonds ($5,500); and Tiffany captures Valentine’s Day in brilliant color, too. A cushion-cut pink tourmaline of 14.31 carats is showcased in a diamond and platinum ring—a spectacular beauty. $18,000.

Wrapped in the Tiffany Blue Box, these exclusive jewelry designs create a memorable Valentine’s Day.

Open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Level 1, near Nordstrom at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. 714.540.5330.

D-BOX in the House!

It was just last month that UltraStar Cinemas at Anaheim GardenWalk introduced the first D-BOX motion seats in Orange County, and now they’re debuting UltraMax, a 65-foot wide screen format. Watching a film on this screen means experiencing the latest in cinema technology—and fans say it’s the best movie presentation ever. And unlike most movie theatres, UltraStar is currently not charging any additional fees for the UltraMax experience. Both 2D and 3D films will be screening UltraMax—currently showing is “The Green Hornet”,  in UltraMax 3D.

If 3D has ever caused you any visual discomfort, this technology should resolve any issues. The UltraMax screen uses Academy Award-winning Christie DLP Cinema technology projector—each frame flashes for each eye, three times faster than conventional projection—-known as triple flash technology—providing a smooth projection.

Show times and tickets are available online at www.ultrastarmovies.com. Regular priced adult tickets cost $10.75, or $6 for matinees. 3D movies cost an additional $3, and D-BOX motion seats cost an additional $8. UltraStar also offers Discount Days ($6 all-day pricing on Tuesdays and Thursdays for all ages). Children, seniors, students and military ticket prices are always $6.

UltraStar GardenWalk 14 at 321 W. Katella Avenue in Anaheim. 714.399.0300.
