Greer’s OC loves local music and one of our favorite bands, Stereofix, was selected to have the chance to play in New York at the CMJ (College Music Journal) Music Festival in October, but they need your help!
From now until Sept. 24, log onto the Current Contest page (you need to create an account at www.picktheband.com first) and select the thumbnail of Stereofix to go to the actual voting page.
The picture will redirect you a music video. After you watch at least 30 seconds of it in the “Watch and Rate” section, a “Rate” bar will display under the video with five guitar picks. Select a pick to vote to give them the chance to play at the CMJ Music Festival and win $10,000 worth of Sennheiser gear!
Everytime you share the music you discover at picktheband on Facebook, Twitter, email, etc., you are entered for a chance to win a trip for you and three friends to the CMJ Music Marathon and Film Festival, including flight, hotel and Sennheiser headphones!
Stereofix, which combines the elements of classic rock, electronic music and pure showmanship on stage, is having a show at the House of Blues in Anaheim on Sept. 24. Come celebrate their win, hopefully, and watch an amazing show with Italian Japanese, Dynamite Walls, The Vespertines and Railroad to Alaska!
