1. Has Fishbone performed Sunset Junction before?
No this is our first time ever!
2. Have you attended Sunset Junction in prior years?
Many times. Saw the Sam Moore performance from the rooftop of a friends house last year. Incredible. And then years before when my daughter was 4 or 5. She’s 9 now). We went and had a wonderful time.
3. Any special plans for the Fishbone Sunset Junction performance?
Our fans can anticipate the usual unforgettable live Fishbone performance and expect some secret surprises.
4. After Junction the band is scheduled to perform in New York then in Jersey. What’s next?
This year a documentary on the band titled Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone premiered at the LA Film Festival. We have more festivals coming up in the fall with a theater release planned for spring. The band will be performing whenever possible to support the project. We’re also in the studio with new material and bringing back some old favorites.
5. What was your last OC experience?
We just played a special show at the Tiki Bar in Costa Mesa not too long ago. It was awesome. Those are our friends. Good times.
