OC Fashion Week Day 4

The finale event for OC Fashion Week is Day 4 Runway Exclusive on Wednesday, March 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Art Institute of California-Orange County in Santa Ana. A student design competition will be judged by top industry insiders and hosted by Mike Scocozza and Naima Mora of “America’s Next Top Model.”
This season’s Fashioned for the Future student designers include: Mandy McClean; Kiet Pham; Stefani Alvarado; Vanessa Lozada; Katherine Huynh; Alisha Needham; Ali Verdugo; Jacob Romero; Gladys Torres; Michelle Beaune; Mercedeh Maralan; Ashlee Vasquez; Marva Alyoush; Melynda Valera; and Dario McIntosh. The winner will be given the opportunity to showcase a full runway collection.
Lucky attendees will also enjoy performances by Naima Mora, as well as an incredible runway presentation from her newly released collection of ready-to-wear, and also premiering Shabella Ready to Wear Collections by Shab Sadeghi. Hair is presented by Toni and Guy Hairdressing Academy and Make-up by Manna Kadar Cosmetics, Accessory styling presented by Betinnis in Brea, cocktails presented by SpaGirl Cocktails and Tequila by Casa Mexico Tequila, presented by Mario Lopez.

Easter Brunch At Back Bay Bistro

Back Bay Bistro in Newport Beach will celebrate the Easter holiday in style from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. with an elaborate brunch and bottomless Champagne and mimosas. Guests will enjoy make-your-own omelet station, pancakes, carving station featuring tenderloin with au jus and horseradish, fresh shrimp cocktail and a chocolate fondue with fresh strawberries, marshmallows and other treats.
Cost is $79 for adults (includes bottomless Champagne and mimosas) and $38 for children 12 years and under. Reservations are recommended and may be made by calling 949.729.1144.
