OC Fair Family Packet Giveaway

In celebration of the upcoming "Get Your Fair Face On!” at the OC Fair on July 15-August 14, we are giving away an OC Fair Family Packet for 4 general admission tickets and 2 carnival riders (3 free rides per card.) The OC Fair will be 23 days of fair food, rides, shopping, exhibits, animals and headline performances in the Pacific Amphitheatre, nightly music in The Hangar and exciting events in the Action Sports Arena.
Simply leave a comment on our Instagram @dailydoseoc or Facebook @greersoc and we will notify the winner on Friday, July 1.
Parking is $10 (cash only) and is not included with the giveaway. Each carnival ride card is valid for three rides or games in either the Main or Kiddie Carnivals. Admission and/or ride cards do not have to be used on the same day.
The fair is open noon to midnight on Wednesday to Friday; 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturday to Sunday; closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Tickers cost $10, senior (60+) $7, youth (6-12) $7, children 5 and younger are free every day.
You can purchase tickets at ocfair.com or from the on-site Box Office (limited hours.) Free parking and shuttle service are available on Saturdays and Sundays from the Experian parking structure located off the Bristol St. exit of the 405 freeway.
The OC Fair & Event Center is off the 405 and 55 freeways at 88 Fair Drive in Costa Mesa.

Sushi Roku Turns One Supports Three Charities

Sushi Roku Newport Beach at Fashion Island will be celebrating its one-year anniversary by donating 25% of all sales to three local charities Sunday, June 26 through Thursday, June 30. The three beneficiaries are Hoag Breast Center, CHOC Children’s, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) funding critical type 1 diabetes research.
Sushi Roku Newport Beach’s special anniversary menu will feature a la carte specials designed to showcase its award-winning sushi experience. You can also enjoy half off all sake and wine by the bottle as the fundraiser culminates on Thursday, June 23.
On “Thirsty Thursday” Sushi Roku Newport Beach offers 50% off its entire selection of sake and wine by the bottle from 5 p.m. to close (does not include by-the-glass options).
Open 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
