If you haven’t yet seen Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall’s Tony Award-winning production of "Cabaret," this is the week to do it. It’s running at Segerstrom Center for the Arts through Sunday, Aug. 21.
The musical is from the award-winning Roundabout Theatre Company celebrating its 50th anniversary season. You can hear some of the most memorable songs in theatre history, including “Cabaret,” “Willkommen” and “Maybe This Time.” You can leave your troubles outside—while experiencing John Kander, Fred Ebb and Joe Masteroff’s Tony-winning musical about following your heart while the world loses its way.
"Cabaret" runs Tuesday, Aug. 16 through Friday, Aug. 19 at 7:30 p.m.; on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 21 at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Steal the Glass at Eureka!

Love beer and collecting beer memorabilia? Join Eureka! in Irvine at University Center, or Huntington Beach, for an exclusive Steal The Glass event on Wednesday, August 17. The ongoing event, celebrated every Wednesday at 6 p.m. features a beer from a local brewery and when you order the designated beer, you can take home the branded glass it comes in.
The Steal The Glass event features Rogue’s Honey Kolsch, a light and sweet beer that is brewed with honey that is foraged straight from the bees at rogue, to the bottle, then to Eureka!
Eureka! will also be tapping Rogue’s Marionberry Braggot, which combines the same foraged honey with hand grown marionberries right from Rogue farm. Pair one of the beers with Eureka!’s Jalapeño Egg Burger featuring cheddar cheese, bacon, pickled jalapeños, chipotle sauce, and a fried egg, for a perfect meal.
