Merry Makeover Spa
11.25.14
Too busy during the holidays to focus on looking your best? Prior to a holiday party or event, let the experts at St. Regis Monarch Beach take over and book a Merry Makeover package. The limited-time package starts off with an Intraceuticals oxygen facial infusion focused on the face, eyes and lips.
The 45-minute oxygen treatment will leave skin moisturized, rejuvenated and glowing and it’s designed to reduce fine lines. It’s perfect for a pre-makeup application to help make you look even better.
Following the facial infusion, at the Salon at Spa Gaucin, you will have an expert make-up consultation and application. The experience ends with a shampoo and hair styling from top stylists including Richard Dalton, stylist and former hairdresser to Princess Diana.
This treatment takes approximately two hours and 45 minutes with a special price of $235 per person, plus a 20 percent service charge through December 2014.
Click to book an appointment online, or call 949.234.3367.
St. Regis Monarch Beach is at 1 Monarch Beach Resort N. in Dana Point.

Aziz Ansari at Segerstrom
11.25.14
By Kelley Moody
As the cold season rolls into Orange County, we could all use a good laugh to warm our spirits. We can be thankful that standup comedian, Aziz Ansari, will be in town for two shows this Wednesday evening at the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. Tickets for the 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. shows are still available online here, or at the box office for $39.
Aziz Ansari is best known for his role in NBC’s Parks and Recreation and has performed across the nation with his tour Aziz Ansari Live! His previous stops include Madison Square Garden where he performed for over 20,000 people in two sold out shows. Ansari has been widely recognized for his humor and was chosen as the Rolling Stone’s “funniest man under 30” in 2012.
Ansari is known for his whimsical comedy and funny commentary on topics from family to factory farms. Ansari also looks forward to life as an author with his new book about dating in a technologically advanced world. His movie credits include This is the End, Get Him to the Greek, Ice Age: Continental Drift, and others.
Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall is at 600 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa.
