Homemade and hearty, Carolina’s Italian In Anaheim

04.12.16

If you love old school Italian food—hearty portions, homemade pasta, made to order pizzas and cheesy garlic bread—you are going to love Carolina’s Italian Restaurant a longtime family owned restaurant in Garden Grove that just opened a second location in Anaheim.

The wait staff at Carolina’s in Anaheim goes out of their way to make you feel at home. They’re friendly, attentive and will bring you complimentary cheese garlic bread and will happily make menu suggestions.

The Taste of Italy—a trio of Shrimp Alfredo, Chicken Pesto & Spaghetti with meatballs is one of their signature plates and it’s great for sharing. Other favorites include the platter of delicious meatballs topped with homemade marinara sauce; the beef lasagna, calzone filled with meatballs, ham, sausage, cheese, homemade marinara sauce and topped with cheese and marinara; and Carolina’s 7 layer pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, black olives, bell peppers and tomatoes. Carolina’s is also known for its extensive beer and wine list. It’s reported to have the largest beer list in Orange County—more than 400 beers to choose from.

The restaurant also caters year-round, for small gatherings to a party of 1,000 people. Carolina’s is perfect  for any occasion.

Open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.

Carolina’s Italian Restaurant is at 915 S. Harbor Blvd. in Anaheim.

Carolina’s original location is at 12045 Chapman Ave., in Garden Grove. 714.971.5551.
