As Issued Relocates to Santa Ana

As Issued, the only bookstore in Orange County known for curating books in global art and design has relocated from Costa Mesa to Santa Ana to join as an extension to Marcas Contemporary Art, on 4th St. in the East End/Calle Cuatro District. As Issued provides an innovative and creative space of art and design books as a resource for artists, designers and more in Orange County.
Owner, Dana Jazayeri has provided services to a list of corporations and institutions, such as Target, Google, Fox Motorsports, Mazda, Hyundai, UCI, Orange County Museum of Art, just to name a few. Through an artfully curated selection of products, and original collaborative events, As Issued is on a mission to broaden the scope of the OC art scene.
Open noon to 7 p.m. daily.

Lumberjack-Style Woodfired Breakfast

SeaSalt Woodfire Grill in Huntington Beach just introduced a lumberjack-style woodfired breakfast every Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Santa Maria-style barbecue eatery is known for its slow-grilled meats and seasonally fresh vegetables grilled over an open redwood oak fire and paired with custom blended sea salts.
Highlights from the menu include T-Bone Steak, Cheese Eggs & Welch’s Grape Breakfast and Cocktail Combo – Kings Ranch Biggie t-bone steak with cheddar cheese on free-range scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes and grape soda cocktail; Oatmeal Pancakes with Hazelnut Butter – sea salted oatmeal pancakes griddled to order and topped with whipped hazelnut butter; Rum Salted Caramel Cinnamon Roll – house-baked cinnamon rolls with rum salted caramel sauce, cream cheese frosting and candied pecans.
Other hearty choices include Ribeye & Eggs – Red Oak grilled Spencer steak served with two free range eggs and style and breakfast potatoes; Linguisa, Biscuits & Eggs – Sea Salt Linguisa Sausage with homestyle biscuits, breakfast potatoes and two free range eggs any style; Tri Tip Hash, house smoked tri tip with sauteed onions and bell peppers topped with a free range egg; Shrimp & Grits with Linguisa – jumbo shrimp with cheddar cheese grits and grilled sea salt linguisa sausage; Santa Maria Breakfast Burrito, house smoked trip tip or linguisa with scrambled free range eggs, ranch beans and tomato relish; Blueberry Crumb Cake with Whisky Chantilly Cream – baked fresh daily; 2x2x4, two free range eggs any style, your choice of house smoked bacon or sea salt linguisa sausage and two griddled pancakes.
Open 5 to 11 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday; 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
