Summer of Theatre once again brings free live performances to Saddleback College. The Department of Theatre Arts presents Beauty and the Beast in Concert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 8 and Saturday, July 9 on an outdoor stage in the upper campus quad at Saddleback College.
You can enjoy a night out under the stars with this gem of a show for the entire family, performed with a live orchestra and visuals.
Festival seating begins at 6 p.m., with areas available for blankets, low-back chairs, and high back chairs. Audiences will enjoy performances of such endearing songs such as Be Our Guest, Gaston, Something There and Beauty and the Beast.
The Summer of Theatre and music will continue with the Saddleback Big Band performance (including a CD release party with 99 year-old Shep Shepherd) on July 15; two Shakespeare performances of Othello and Cymbeline by Shakespeare by the Sea’s productions on July 16-17; and Little Shop of Horrors on July 22-23.
