What Dreams are Made of Gala

On Friday, September 16, the Island Hotel in Newport Beach will serve as the perfect setting for The Literacy Project’s 7th annual gala, “What Dreams Are Made Of.”

The 2016 “What Dreams Are Made Of” gala is presented by Wienerschnitzel and will bring together passionate supporters who strive to give students with lesser means the foundational resources to continue their educations and realize their ambitions. TLP’s mission to implement its literacy program into classrooms where students are well below the English proficiency standards to improve their reading skills, at no cost.

The overarching highlight of the evening will be the presentations of three graduate students who recently completed TLP’s reading program.

The cocktail reception and silent auction starts at 5:30 p.m., the program and dinner starts at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $225 per person. For more information, visit here.
